UN-GGIM Academic Network Americas

The Academic Network Americas (ANA) is a formal body constituted as part of the United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management: Americas which serves as its strategic knowledge, research and training arm.

OUR OBJECTIVES

To promote and strengthen close collaboration between academic/research institutions and their national geospatial counterparts for the Americas.

The primary purpose of the UN-GGIM Academic Network Americas (ANA) is to academically support the aims and objectives of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) in the Americas region.

We facilitate access to research and education for UN-GGIM by producing knowledge in the region’s main languages (Spanish, French among others). Academic Network Americas is a subsidiary of the UN-GGIM World Academic Network.

For Institutions

For Individuals

Please first download the EOI-Individual.txt version to allow you to prepare your responses in advance. This form must be completed in one sitting and cannot be saved.

Please note that joining the UNGGIM Academic Network Americas as an Individual does not allow you to automatically become a member of the the UNGGIM Academic Network. Only Institutional members are allowed at the global level.
